Rocket Bottoms Petite Fitted Diaper Cloth Diaper Digital Sewing Pattern
This is a PDF sewing pattern and tutorial. You will not receive a paper pattern. This is not a finished product. You must create an account to purchase digital patterns. Patterns are instantly available for download after checkout.
This pattern makes a "OS" Petite Fitted Diaper with a fold down rise or snap down rise for adjustment.
Diapers made using this pattern are generally made from knit fabric. Make your fitted a hybrid by using anti-pill fleece for the hidden body layer and go coverless for longer!
This pattern is a petite version of my popular OS Fitted pattern. It is designed to fit smaller babies/toddlers. This is not a true OS diaper pattern, it is more like a newborn to small medium fitting babies around 8 pounds up to 20-22 pounds depending on build.
This pattern has been extensively tested on babies of all sizes in the fit range. This style of diaper requires a cover as it is not designed as a waterproof diaper.
Make your diaper with snaps or leave them off to use a snap or diaper pin for a truly custom fit! It works great as a snappable diaper when made with a terry or other grippy knit fabric as the outer layer.
Pattern includes instructions to make a basic turned and top-stitched Petite diaper. This pattern can be sewn up exactly like the regular OS Fitted, it is just smaller :)
Included with this pattern is the NEW Rocket Bottoms OS Soaker System pattern pieces. This soaker system is designed to work with all sizes of diapers. It adjusts through multiple sizes. This is the only soaker system you need!
Fabric will be continuous if ordering more than one cut with the exception of wholesale rolls and bolts.

from 1626 reviewsI wanted to make a summer Ruana with this lovely fabric. It is so light that it was tricky to serge the single edges of the fabric.
Love the organic cotton sherpa fabric. It’s so soft and plush. I would love to see it in a medium brown color too. I’m a life long customer.
I ordered PUL fabric and watercolor vinyl for a market tote and a hand bag pattern and they are perfect! The colors are vibrant and the material easy to work with. My order came quickly and with swatches of their other products. I ordered one of them based on the swatch and now just have to figure out what bag I will make with it. I am holding on to the swatches for future reference. All really wonderful materials.
My son asked me to make a burial cloth for his beloved German Shepherd. The owner was very helpful in helping me find what I needed. Hemp canvas for outside, straps for carrying, and ties.A fuzzy wool for lining. Here's Pic of simple design I came up with. It's shown with blankets inside
I feel compelled to continue planning my winter wardrobe. I refuse to wear those mostly polyester base layers that retailers are selling, always in black. I ordered the blue merino wool knit to replace those 2 tops I have worn 5 winters. I keep my Nature's Fabrics projects in a see-through container. I cut the name and yardage amount off the invoice, and pin it to the fabric, in case I need more at a later date.
Excellent fabric quality. I’m sure I’ll get many fun years of wear.
Beautiful fabric, awesome prices and fast shipping
Sapphire Gentians Bamboo/Spandex jersey fabric is soft with beautiful detail and color.
So soft, beautiful and really quality
Wonderful quality fabric at reasonable prices. Thank you so much.
It’s so hard to find materials that do not contain toxins and are natural, but with Nature Fabrics I finally found exactly what I was looking for!
I am especially happy that I am now able to make dog stuff that I don’t have to worry about when they Re chewed on.
Also a big shoutout to the customer service! Friendly, fast, knowledgeable!
Thank you!
I decided that this winter I would not be using unhealthy polyester fleece. I chose the bamboo fleece as an intermediate level of warmth. I will be making a jogging jacket and hope to have it sewed soon. I already have purchased the separating zipper and other notions. Gardening and canning are keeping me from gwtting to my sewing projects.
Finding a selection of quality cotton interlock knits is very difficult if you don’t know about Nature’s Fabrics. I’m so happy with my discovery! Love using it to make my comfy swing tunic tops.
I’ve been trying to find exactly this weight and stretch jersey for a while. Nice and light, low stretch but enough to be forgiving, lovely drape, perfect for all sorts of basic garments and not so stretchy as to be an enormous pain in the ass for a beginner sewer like me. Color true to photo.
