Many online fabric sites don’t tell you anything about fabric weight, and you sure can’t tell from looking at a photo. Nice wool jersey that is so soft. I did a test wash with a six inch square in with a regular load of laundry. No need to zig zag raw edges. It did shrink a little but not much. With a gentle wash and lay flat to dry, any garment made from this wool jersey will be a favorite.
I bought cotton fleece. One piece organic and two that were not. They were all thick and beautiful texture. The colors were perfect. They all exceeded my expectations!
super cute french terry - i paired it with a bamboo fleece (in espresso i think??) and made a raglan sleeved dress (the Hemlock Hoodie Dress) Has great stretch, great recovery - would blend with lots of different colors in the pattern.
The kids chose the colors they wanted but we all love the cotton velour fabric and the available colors. I am going to make them throws for Christmas to cuddle up in on cold nights.
