What size is my fabric?

What size are my cuts of fabric going to be?

Are you ready to dive into the world of sewing and crafting? One of the first challenges you'll face is figuring out what size your cuts of fabric need to be. Don't worry, with a bit of guidance, you'll be cutting like a pro in no time!

Why is it important to know the size of your fabric cuts?

Understanding the size of your fabric cuts is crucial to the success of your project. Just like a captain needs to know the size of the waves before setting sail, you need to know the dimensions of your fabric pieces before you start sewing. It's the foundation of your creation, setting the stage for everything that comes next.

How can you determine the size of your fabric cuts?

When you order one yard of fabric, the fabric will come folded and neatly packaged for you. One yard of fabric measures 36" by the width of the fabric. The width of the fabric will be listed in each individual fabric listing- normally 55"-60" wide.
