This Washable Interlock is 100% Merino Wool. It is 43" wide and weighs 230 GSM. This fabric stretches 80% in the width and 0% in the length. Edges should be finished before washing.
Ideal for base layers or leggings.
Wash in cold water and lay flat to dry.
This fabric is designed and made in Finland with mulesing free wool.

The title says it all. I've started exploring different wools for apparel (I'm entering my Wool Era and more sustainable/intentional sewing), and I finally decided to take a leap on the pricier Merino Wool.
I never understood the phrase "it cuts like butter" before I cut into this lusciously soft fabric. My rotary cutter glid through this fabric like it was nothing!
It is so soft, and the deep green color is perfect. I wish the fabric width was a little wider, but I will be stretching what I have with some smaller makes like hats in addition to my new favorite shirt.
