We received some beautiful (in hand and color) washable wool interlock fabric today. Stripe wool knits are so hard to find, but we have them! The washable wool interlock is good for lounge pants, tops, cardigans and dresses. The wool also makes excellent base layers.
What makes wool washable? The tiny barbs on the wool fiber are removed, eliminating the ability for the fibers to lock and pull together. It does shrink like any other fiber, so hand washing is still recommended.
